The best way to find out what we're offering is to come along and join in! We meet on Tuesday evenings 7pm to 9pm and perform a March Concert and November Opera annually.

Harlekin Studio Opera delivers high quality opera education through weekly workshops all year round. We are the leading open-access company in Newcastle offering a complete package of traditional opera training with singing, acting and theatre craft taking pride of place.

Everyone is equally valued in our community centred company. Regardless of their experience level, everyone sings first and foremost as part of the chorus - principal singers too!
In this way there is always great peer support and we are able to accelerate the learning of newcomers quickly to the high standards necessary for excellent performances.
